Support our Work
We envision a future in which Atlanta will be home to a diverse, interconnected food system that promotes healthy food, sustainable ecosystems, and living wage working conditions.
Community Farmers Markets, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, addresses food access & security through four programmatic methods:
1) Distribution of food through farmers markets and alternative distribution modes like the Treat Yo’Shelf General Store
2) Education about food through educational programming and events
3) Financial incentives to make local food more affordable
4) Vendor support and professional development
Did You Know
While CFM manages the farmers markets, we don’t receive any direct support from shoppers unless they donate. We rely on donations from individuals and institutions to implement our programs, which make local food more accessible for all. And because we’re a nonprofit, all your donations are tax-deductible! Your support is vital to our community, and deeply appreciated.
